| We interviewed several MA wedding planners before settling with Events by SD. Their whole team did an incredible job planning and designing our event, even after we moved the date closer and changed locations, a big deal which they handled well (from Boston to New York). They were also very responsive to our phone calls and e-mails, usually answering them within a one day.
They designed our whole event for us, the lighting, florals, table tops, linens and people still rave about how everything looked. We were not in a traditional wedding venue (i.e. ballroom or function facility), so our slate was quite blank. I wasn't sure how everything was going to turn out, but they ended up making our MA reception tent and ceremony area look spectacular.
They also did an excellent job managing our vendors, most of who were out-of-state (we ended up having a destination wedding). Post-event my vendors were said that they were very easy to work with and professional. From what I could tell, my event seemed seamless and went off without too many issues. Even when our DJ called to say that he would not be able to make it, our planners were there with a solution (thank heaven for iPods and rented sound systems).
They were definitely on the pricey side, but worth every penny (because I did not have to worry about anything related to the planning). If you are planning a destination event, or even local one for that matter, I highly recommend this company. |
